Prayer Request

4 Days until we leave for Africa. The devil is already trying to cause problems. I guess that means that great things are about to happen on this trip and he doesn't want that to happen. Wayne's wife Kati has been sick and in the hospital. Docs think that she has an ulcer. Kelly Wagner crushed her laptop that she needs to do her school work through the internet while we are gone. Please pray for the team as we make final preparations to leave on Thursday.

  1. You go to do that which is right in the sight of the Lord. We will pray daily for you to be covered by God's armour as you go to proclaim the gospel and to testify to the lost that there is forgiveness of sin in the Person of Jesus Christ. Be ready to go wherever He sends you. Those who do this are said to have "beautiful feet." The Bible says, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!" (Romans 10:15). 2. Our Prayer: Lord, thank You for sending these believers to Mombasa! Help them to give others the love and comfort You have given us. Protect them as they help to open eyes and hearts to Your salvation! Please give them strength and courage in sharing the promise of His kingdom eternal! Help them to plant the seed so that the Holy Spirit can work in someone's life that cross their path. Amen. Gary and Vickie Gibson

  3. Please forgive the " amp;" error on "Comment as:" Can't get rid of it. Today our prayer is for a quick recovery from jet lag and adjustment to local time and conditions. (we've been there done that so-o-o many times!) God kept you safe. Tommorrow is another day. We pray you'll be ready for what He brings your way. Team, Psalms 121:1-8 is our prayer for you today. 4. Today's prayer is that for God to be glorified in all that you are doing. The God who gave us His promise of eternal life will be glorified as you share the plan of salvation to those who will hear. Read 1Peter 1:2-9 today. Know that we swell up with pride and yet humble before God for the experiences He has provided to you. God bless. Gary and Vickie Gibson Hallmark Baptist Church Fort Worth, TX

  5. As morning arrived 2 Wood Thrush pierced the air at my front porch with song. Prior to that I had the tunes of "AT The Cross" and "Open The Eyes To My Heart,Lord". Perhaps they were telling me to sing "He Keeps Me Singing". Our prayer? They thru YOU open their eyes ro their hearts, & YOU lead them to the foot of the cross, THEY accept Jesus and be able to sing all the day long of his wonderous love. Gary & Vickie Gibson

  6. Our prayer for you today: May they see Jesus in you today. Let His light shine through you. Show love; for it is happy and bright. Do not show pity. Pity is sad and dark. "This little light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine..." May God bless you in all that you do today. Sometimes the smallest of things are the ones most remembered or bring the greatest of joy. 7. PRATSE GOD! May God pour out His blessings upon you. Thank You Holy Spirit. More souls for the Kingdom. Glory be to the Father! Even if it had only been one soul this trip would have been worth it - but double digits??? Glory be to the Father! Jesus is the Master Soul Winner. Having studied Him and following His teachings/methods of witnessing in patient love you will see the fruits of your labor. Glory be to God. There is still time to find other souls for the Kingdom. Continue in your mission. Bless you. Gary & Vickie Gibson

  10. Mor-r-r-r-ning Mombasa!!! Our prayer for you today is that you continue to help in adding to the Kingdom of Heaven one soul at a time. Most physical aid lasts only a day but salvation lasts forever. Help someone to take the gift Jesus provided. He has already paid for it. How much did it cost? He simply stretched out His arms and died for all those who will believe. Gary & Vickie Gibson

  11. Today Lord, we pray that our Team in Kenya will continue to have a servant's heart and serve these very needy people. We pray that their souls are satisfied with knowing that these people can never repay the kindnesses the Team shows. The Father will provide the reward. We pray that the Lord strengthen them in their walk with Him through this Mission trip. God bless them Father, as they continue to reach out to others and share the Gospel. 12. Rachel's blog on the 13th reminded me of Proverbs 22:6 "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." How important it is that the children learn the ways of the Lord. Our prayer for the day of 14 March shall be that the children's hearts be filled with the Holy Spirit: today and forever more. We pray God's richest blessings on the children, their families, their friends, their country and our team in Kenya. Gary & Vickie Gibson

  14. Father, you are the Pastor and Master of us all. We ask for blessings on Pastor Nzaro of Mtepeni. Father, we ask for safe travels for our Team who soon return to us. May the convictions of their hearts grow into plans for bringing salvation to others and glory and honor unto you. Heaven came down and glory filled the souls of many because they gave of themselves for your honor and your glory. How blessed are they that have not seen and yet believed. Father, let us live in the light of Thy Glory. Show mercy to us. Amen & Amen
