One Letter Makes a Difference!

One letter makes a huge difference!!!

As many of you know, Lisa is trying her best to learn the language of Swahili here in Kenya.  She did not go to language school but she works with the local people to learn to speak with them during her day to day routine.  Swahili is said to be a very easy language to learn but that depends on who you ask!  It is a beautiful language with a mix of Arabic, Bantu, Hindi & Portuguese.

Last week we gave worm medicine to all of our kids @ our schools, as we do every 6 months  Lisa was filming the event and trying to help the kids at the same time.  When you watch and listen to this video, you will see the kids have a bewildered look on their face.  Lisa thought she was telling the kids to "KUNYWA" their medicine, which means "drink" their medicine.  Instead she told them to "KUNYA" their medicine, which means "poop" their medicine!!!  :)  These precious kids don't know what to think of us most of the time. :)

Just one of the many examples that make our ministry here an "adventure" of a lifetime.

We thank each of you for your prayers and donations for the medicine, food, and education for the amazing children of Kenya.

God Bless!!

Chris & Lisa Moore
