Mtepani village

Hot, hot and hotter! We spent the day hauling bricks, singing, coloring, wielding an ax, playing duck duck goose, and of course blowing bubbles. Yes, that's correct, we did all that today. The church and community are overwhelmed with the generosity of Hallmark Baptist Church. God is going to use the church to be a lighthouse in this community. Pray for us  tomorrow. we will be going back and setting up a clinic as well as evangelism.

By the way... the school is coming up fast. They have most of the walls up!

  1. You all are the hands and feet of Jesus!
I'm praying that the people you touch while you're there long for Jesus and not America.

"Let your works so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven" (Matt. 5:16 NKJV).

We love you all and pray for your closeness to Christ and effectiveness in ministry.

  2. Wayne, Christy & Katina,
Your words brought tears to my eyes today. I am rejoicing with you over the souls that were saved and the children that were loved on today. Hearing you talk about huts that people live in, and missing a simple luxury as ice, makes me feel so ashamed for all the things I take for granted. I hope that the "change" that is taken place in you will spread to the rest of us back here. Thanks for sharing from your heart. Love & Prayers

  3. Jon,
I'm thankful to see that all those years of coloring has finally paid off. Really - - it's awesome what you are all doing there. Keep up the good work. God is blessing. Everyone misses you.
    Love you,
    Mom
