I didn't know how much blessings could come from such a long walk. Today me and 2 other college students joined with a translator named Edward, he took us through his village and we were immediately greeted with so much love. We met a woman filling up water jugs and we helped her carry them up hill to her house and met her grandmother, without even asking our names she immediately rolled a mat on the dirt for us to sit on while she and her family sat in the dirt to listen to us. She accepted Christ as her savior within the hour and out of kindness gave us some vegetables. We came across another family, who we met in the fields, and they took us to their house just so they could give us fruit. It was amazing to see how people with so little to give, gave so much to complete strangers, random white people they just met. Although the rest of the journey was tough, jumping over rivers, climbing up rocks, getting lost and walking up a mountain, it was all worth it to be able to evangelize to the villagers and lead one to Christ. This trip has been nothing but a huge blessing in my life, I have seen God do so much in the past week and we still have another to go, I really don't want to leave because of how much I see the Kenyans love God. I can not wait to see what God has in store for us this last week.
