One Sunday night in August of 2008 I heard this missionary preaching that Jesus was a "cool dude" and the "rocking King James Version of the Bible." He showed a great love for the people of Kenya. They had great dreams of reaching the lost with the gospel, feeding and educating children and building clinics to help with the medical needs of the villagers.
That night my wife and I took Chris and Lisa to dinner to see how "real" they really were. After dinner that night I realized that we had just been at a divine appointment. Several times in the past I had said that I was not called to Africa, but God started working in my heart. By March of 2009 we made our first trip to Kenya. Since then we have been blessed to help the Moore's out in ministry for almost 5 years now. We have also been able to lead three missions teams to Kenya to work on the field with Chris and Lisa.
God is really doing some great things in their ministry. Here are a few pictures of the completed buildings at Maasai Corner Ministries. This church started under the big mango tree. Through the help of many of you they now worship in a beautiful church building. The church and childrens worship center also double as school classrooms during the week. There is a beautiful clinic there where Lisa and medical missions teams can treat many patients.

Thank you Chris and Lisa for following God's call on your lives. Many Kenyans are being reached with the Gospel and many Americans have a whole different outlook on missions and life after making a trip over there.
