Pastor Appreciation Day

Today we had "Pastor Appreciation Sunday" for Pastor Nzaro.  There were nearly 300 people in attendance and we had an amazing service.  Many came with gifts such as corn, beans, chickens, pots, pans, material, and money to show their love for their pastor.  Many of his pastor friends traveled from hours away to attend this important event.  After the service we fed everyone "Pilau" (rice, beef & spices).  Then we presented Nzaro with a motorcycle for him to use for his ministry.  He was overwhelmed with tears of joy!  He asked me to pass along his appreciation to all of you who give and pray for him and MBEWAU Church & Academy each and every week.

Feeding Center Complete!!!

As many of you know, we just finished our Feeding Center and started the 3rd Semester of school.  Here are a few pics of the kids and staff enjoying all the new "stuff".  Just 2 months ago we were cooking in a mud hut and eating off the ground!  We have come a long way, thanks to all of your prayers and support!!

First Day of School

First day of School! :)

All the children were so excited to start their first day back to school. We have over 20 new students and one new teacher. The kids did not know how to act with their new cafeteria. Sitting on new benches, at new tables in a beautiful new building. Many of them used SPOONS for the very first time. We had more food on the floor than in their little bellies! :) Each of the children are so precious and they each come with their own story. Lisa and I are so proud of MBEWAU and we are honored to be here helping where HE points us. Thanks for your love and support!!
